Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hunna ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, finance software, and related services (the "Services"). Hunna is not currently incorporated; a planned Delaware corporation and San Francisco headquarters are not yet established.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, company and role, communications, evaluation answers and results, and any business or financial data you choose to enter, upload, import, or connect. We also collect technical and usage information, including IP address, browser, device, referring pages, product interactions, diagnostic and error information, and approximate location derived from IP address. Payment-card data, if we later offer paid plans, is processed by the payment provider and is not stored directly by Hunna.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services; administer accounts; respond to requests; process transactions; provide support; communicate service and policy updates; detect abuse; understand performance; and comply with legal obligations. This includes providing evaluation results and, where offered, generating the financial organization, analysis, forecasts, reports, and AI-assisted responses you request.

3. AI processing and financial data

Hunna may use artificial-intelligence systems for features that generate or assist with content, analysis, forecasts, reports, or other requested outputs. If you use an AI feature, prompts, instructions, and relevant business data may be processed to provide that feature. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances; review it before relying on it. Hunna provides software and informational assistance, not legal, tax, audit, investment, or regulated financial advice. This website does not currently identify a live third-party AI provider; before launching one, Hunna must update this policy to name the provider and describe the applicable data-use and retention terms.

4. When we share information

Hunna does not sell personal information. The website and web app use Vercel for hosting and delivery, PostHog for product analytics and error tracking, Stripe to process payments and subscription transactions, and Resend to deliver service and transactional email. Stripe may receive payment, billing, account, and transaction information; Hunna does not store full payment-card data. Resend may receive your email address and the content and delivery metadata of emails sent to you. PostHog receives online identifiers, device and usage data, and, when you submit an evaluation, the email address, name, company, role, score, and evaluation identifier supplied in the form. The evaluation form is configured to send its submitted name, email, score, and evaluation identifier to Google Forms only when a valid Google Form endpoint is enabled. Hunna plans to use OpenAI for AI functionality in the coming weeks; before it is enabled, Hunna must update this policy to identify the applicable OpenAI service and describe the data sent, permitted use, retention, and available controls. We may also share information with providers supporting authentication, storage, security, and integrations when those features are launched; with professional advisers; during a business transaction; when you direct us; or when required to comply with law and protect rights or safety. GitHub and development tools such as the OpenAI Codex SDK are not recipients of customer data unless and until they are used to process it in the Services.

5. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

We and PostHog use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand use of the website, and diagnose errors. You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings, but some features may not work as intended. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. If consent is required where you are located, Hunna must implement a consent mechanism before enabling non-essential analytics there.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill legitimate business and legal purposes, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. International transfers

Hunna and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. Privacy laws may differ between jurisdictions.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may opt out of marketing, control cookies through your browser, disconnect integrations, and submit requests through Hunna support. We may verify your identity. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

9. Children

The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Updates

We may update this policy as the Services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy, update the date above, and may provide additional notice for material changes.

11. Contact us

For privacy questions or requests, contact Hunna through the support channel available on our website or in the Services. Include enough information for us to understand and respond to your request. A dedicated legal email address and legal entity contact details have not yet been established and will be added before production launch.
